About "Desert Reliefs"
My work is about being in new places and new situations. It explores adjustment and adaptation. It is about my relationship with sudden and abrupt change. Pictures of strangers going about their everyday business are placed in vast stark landscapes. The worlds I create are projections of a future where everything has changed. Our adaptation is complete and our transformation was subtle.
